Bridge

In my Villiage, I live in the middle.

I know the farmer in the west who has to throw away her goods because she grows more than she can consume. I know the caregiver in the east who never has enough food to feed her loved ones.

Because I stand in the middle, I see all sides. They call me the bridge, the connector.

I reached one had to the farmer and the other to the caregiver and joined the two together. We built a bridge where the farmer crossed to help the caregiver feed her family, and where the caregiver’s family crossed to help the farmer with her crops.

If we divide our village into tribes who refuse to communicate, we will never know the bridges we can cross to create unity through community.

When we see all sides, we can be a bridge for others to see all sides too.
