Bones

When I look at you, I see good bones, I see our oneness.

In that view, I am able to easily love you, as I love myself.

I treat you with the respect I’d like to be treated with.

I see you all the way to your bare bones, your strengths and your weaknesses.

In doing so, I accept our shared imperfections and love us both unconditionally.

I offer repair when asked to take accountability for missed takes, I ask you do the same.

Some people feel loved when they are seen, others feel ashamed.

I offer grace and forgiveness when remorse starts to show; reciprocity requested.

We are one, down to the bone.

Arr, me Matey!
